Check Out Everything That We Have For You At Our Frankfort Fitness Center

Our facilities are full and brimming with activities, equipment, amenities and energy to keep you going and active all year long.

Sports Courts: Sports lovers of all ages will find a place to sharpen skills. We have three basketball courts both inside and outside for shooting hoops. During the summer, we put on skills camps as well. Our two courts are available for those wanting to play a game of racquetball or wallyball. No matter your skill level, you can enjoy a game of tennis inside or outside. Our golf practice cage lets members work on their swing anytime.

Pool Time: Indoors, swimmers can enjoy five lanes of swimming or a free swim area in our 22-meter pool. Our instructors can take you through a fun group exercise class in the water, such as aqua tone, H2O for Health or ZumWata, which is Zumba in water. Private swim lessons are also available. The outdoor pool is a fun way for families to gather and soak in the summer sun. A baby pool is perfect for little swimmers and our certified lifeguards are always on duty.

Gym Zone: We also offer the traditional space for cardio and weights, but with the latest, industry-leading equipment to ensure a great workout. Our indoor track is for runners and walkers who will be able to maintain their routines all year long.

COVID-19 Update

June 18, 2020

Riviera Country Club Members:

Together, we are facing a truly unprecedented situation. The global coronavirus pandemic is affecting our way of life for all of our families, friends and businesses, particularly in the state of Illinois. First and foremost, our hearts go out to anyone who's been impacted by the virus, either directly or indirectly. Our thoughts are especially with those who are sick, to whom we extend our heartfelt wishes for a full recovery.

We receive inquiries daily from members asking, “When is the Club going to re-open?” Unfortunately, there is no simple answer to that question as it is entirely up to the governor to give us that approval. The state has recently moved to Phase 3 of its plan, which on the surface includes the opening of “Personal Care Services and Health Clubs” however, it only allows Health and Fitness Clubs to provide outdoor classes for up to 10 participants and one-on-one personal training indoors with IDPH approved safety guidance. This in no way, by any stretch of the imagination, constitutes the opening of Gyms and Health Clubs.

Please keep in mind that we are a full service all-inclusive club with many members and could not reopen in piecemeal form. Most members have specific aspects of the club for which they have become members and use it: Some for tennis; others for exercise classes; and still others for the pool or spa or something else. If any of these aspects cannot be available, then the club does not serve a purpose for those members. Therefore, the entire club will need to be open and available to our members when we open our doors again.

To that end, it looks like the governor’s plan would need to move to Phase 5 for Health Clubs and Spas to fully re-open. The governor’s plan would move to Phase 5 when either a vaccine is developed to prevent the spread of the virus, a treatment option is readily available that ensures health care capacity is no longer a concern, or there are no new cases over a sustained period.

We hope to have additional information in the near future as we move through these unprecedented times. In the meantime, please stay healthy.

Sincerely,

Dan O’Donnell
