Orland Park Personal Trainer And Services For Your Children

We understand that life gets in the way of working out. That is why we strive to help you mark off excuses that may interfere in your exercise routine. A main challenge can be: What can I do with my kids while I work out? Our Sandbox Playtime Services has you covered! Our experienced staff members will supervise your children ages 6 weeks to 7 years old while you work out. This is a safe, fun and educational environment for your children to stay busy during your workout time. We stock our area with everything from coloring books to games.

A healthy lifestyle should be a family endeavor, which is why we incorporate children into our place with year-round social activities for all ages. Exposing your children to working out will help leave an imprint on your kids about what it takes to stay healthy for a lifetime. You can play basketball or tennis with your children on our sports courts. Our pools are all about family fun! Our outdoor pool is open during the warmer months and is always a destination for families to have summer fun! There is a two-story water slide and a baby pool with a fountain. Swimming lessons are also offered for helping all members of your family sharpen their swimming skills.

COVID-19 Update

June 18, 2020

Riviera Country Club Members:

Together, we are facing a truly unprecedented situation. The global coronavirus pandemic is affecting our way of life for all of our families, friends and businesses, particularly in the state of Illinois. First and foremost, our hearts go out to anyone who's been impacted by the virus, either directly or indirectly. Our thoughts are especially with those who are sick, to whom we extend our heartfelt wishes for a full recovery.

We receive inquiries daily from members asking, “When is the Club going to re-open?” Unfortunately, there is no simple answer to that question as it is entirely up to the governor to give us that approval. The state has recently moved to Phase 3 of its plan, which on the surface includes the opening of “Personal Care Services and Health Clubs” however, it only allows Health and Fitness Clubs to provide outdoor classes for up to 10 participants and one-on-one personal training indoors with IDPH approved safety guidance. This in no way, by any stretch of the imagination, constitutes the opening of Gyms and Health Clubs.

Please keep in mind that we are a full service all-inclusive club with many members and could not reopen in piecemeal form. Most members have specific aspects of the club for which they have become members and use it: Some for tennis; others for exercise classes; and still others for the pool or spa or something else. If any of these aspects cannot be available, then the club does not serve a purpose for those members. Therefore, the entire club will need to be open and available to our members when we open our doors again.

To that end, it looks like the governor’s plan would need to move to Phase 5 for Health Clubs and Spas to fully re-open. The governor’s plan would move to Phase 5 when either a vaccine is developed to prevent the spread of the virus, a treatment option is readily available that ensures health care capacity is no longer a concern, or there are no new cases over a sustained period.

We hope to have additional information in the near future as we move through these unprecedented times. In the meantime, please stay healthy.

Sincerely,

Dan O’Donnell
